The Pioneer/Indian Museum was buzzing with activity on Monday, Jan. 30 as
63 very courteous students from Riddle visited in celebration of Riddle’s 130th
anniversary of incorporation. The 17 fifth graders were very excited to do a
scavenger hunt through the main building. Lorie Shafer captured the
attention of 26 eighth graders with her wagon train tales. There were 20 tenth
graders who were most interested in the displays, took pictures and asked
questions. Ron Witt, Jay Wilson and Susan Waddle shared information about
mining and the wheelwright and blacksmith shops. Thank you to Dawn Mills
and the Riddle staff for giving us an opportunity to share our history. We will
see you next year!
