The South Umpqua Historical Society’s Quarterly Summer General Meeting will be held August 20, 2023 at the Pioneer/Indian Museum in Canyonville, 421 SW fifth Street, at 2:00 p.m. Our 2023 edition of Pioneer Days in the South Umpqua Valley has arrived and will be available at the meeting.
We will also have a booth under the pavilion at Pioneer Days on August 24, 25 and 26. We will be under the pavilion located to the left as you enter the park from 4th Street. In the same area will be the people demonstrating old time activities with a blacksmith, gold panning, wool spinning and laundry day back when.
