Demonstrations all afternoon! Wheelwright work; basket weaving by Beth of Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians; Plank House and talks of daily tribal living long ago; crosscut saw activity with Matthew Brady; wool spinning! Indian fried read and other refresments available and all museum buildings open. Admission is free; donations are accepted.

 

The museum is the jewel of South Umpqua Historical Society and showcases our Pioneer and Indian Heritage of the many valleys of the Umpqua.
