On behalf of the Board of Directors of the South Umpqua Historical Society and the Pioneer Indian Museum in Canyonville and our membership, I wish to express our gratitude for having received the support of the Lilja Family Fund through The Oregon Community Foundation with a grant for $8,680. The grant will pay staff assistance in cataloging and digitizing our collection to make it easily searchable to the public and for assistance with operating expenses which help to keep our museum free to families who visit to learn about our local history. This grant will help pay those expenses for one year.
