SOUTH UMPQUA HISTORICAL SOCIETY KUDOS TO THE ROUNDHOUSE FOUNDATION AND THE COW CREEK BAND OF UMPQUA TRIBE OF INDIANS

During the past winter our old heating system in the Pioneer Indian Museum artifact, photo and document file storage rooms gave out after thirty two years of service. We had to ask for help to restore adequate temperatures for our collections during mid-winter weather conditions. We wish to express appreciation to Caveman Heating and Air Conditioning in Grants Pass, who worked with us to allow us to ask for grant help by installing a new system quickly. We wish to thank The Roundhouse Foundation and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians for providing grant funds to restore heat to our collections of irreplaceable artifacts here at the Pioneer Indian Museum in Canyonville.
