Monday, March 23, 2026, was a significant day for us. The new storage building had been finished complete with a coat of paint and lights and heat. We were ready to move in! Our room in the main museum which served as a storage area for items not on exhibit had only a path through it. Several volunteers and college and high school students on spring break were interested in seeing what the historic items at the museum looked like and helped move them into a new space until they are needed in an exhibit in the museum.
