The South Umpqua Historical Society will again be at our booth at Pioneer Days this year. Our 2024 booklet – Pioneer Days in the South Umpqua Valley – will be available at the booth and at the Pioneer Indian Museum at 421 SW Fifth Street in Canyonville. We will have past issues available as well.
We had a log stamp branding event earlier this year and wish to continue recording history through old log brands at our booth. If you were not able to bring your brand earlier, bring it along and we will stamp an impression of it for the history of logging in Southern Douglas County. See you at Pioneer Days!
