WE WISH TO THANK THE COW CREEK BAND OF UMPQUA INDIANS AND THEIR CONTRACTOR, GOSSELIN CONSTRUCTION

for the construction of a rock retainer wall beside the wagon shed at our museum. When our project manager for the wagon shed, Jim Fosback, passed this past year, we reached out to the Tribe for help finishing the rock placement. The Tribe’s various businesses use rock accents in attractive ways, so it seemed assured that it would be a good end result. As anticipated, Jason Gosselin brought his track equipment and used the highly colored quartz rock to creatively construct a solid reinforcing wall next to the wagon shed finishing our project.
